Winter and Spring 2012 with Peace Together

Welcome to all new and returning site visitors!  Peace Together is happy to have your interest in our music and mission.  After a busy and inspiring Christmas season, our winter practices will be helping us to prepare for 2 Lenten concerts - one at the Village at St. Edward's Independent Living Residence and the other at Our Lady of the Elms Residence, both in Akron, Oh.  We are excited to be learning a few new arrangments which may be ready for presentation soon...including an exciting rendition of "How Great Thou Art" by Dan Forrest, and "O Danny Boy",by Barlow Bradford in time for the St. Patrick's Day season.  We also have started to learn an arrangement of "God so Loved the World" which was beautifully arranged by a local musician, Mr Hal Wright.  We hope you can visit one of our performances to hear those arrangments when completed.  We will also be renewing some older favorites including "When You Prayed Beneath the Trees" , "Be Thou My Vision" and "Coming Home" from our Trust in the Lord Cd. 

For memorial services in the near future, we are hoping to complete preparation of a beautiful new song by Dan Forrest called "Lord of the Small", as well as some others that we have not performed lately. If anyone has any suggestions for non-denominational memorial services songs or arrangements, we would love to hear from you via our  "Contacts" link, above. 

Other Good News!  we have just ordered a reprinting of our first CD, Hope in the Night which has been unavailable lately! 

And much more exciting:  we are about to release all of our singles for digital sales on the CDbaby site, as well as on the very popular Itunes and Amazon music sharing sites.  If you know someone who would like to personalize their favorite collection of Peace Together Music, you will be able to refer them to Itunes or CDBaby where they can audition all the songs and choose to download their favorites.  Stay tuned and we will announce when these are finallyl available!
